He served as volunteer ADC to both Johnston and Beauregard, and was wounded badly at Shiloh. However, Beauregard's post-action report in the OR mentions wounds of his valiant staff down to a horse, but no mention of Trudeau's wound, which put him out of action for almost a year as I understand it. Wonder if there were some issues between PGTB and Trudeau....
