Thanks Steve. That makes sense since he was from the Hessmer-Mansura area. I have spoken to the secretaries at St. Paul's in Mansura & St. Alphonsus in Hessmer to see if Edmond Charrier was buried there. (They were nice enough to do the look-ups for me and handle this by phone as I live in Central TX) He died 2/12/1905 and was not listed in any of their burial books. Do you know of any other cemeteries in that area that I could check with? Jane
