According to Booth's there was only one Peter Miller identified as serving in Louisiana military, this more of a home guard/state troop:

Miller, Peter, __ Co. A, 2nd Regt. 3rd Brig. 1st Div. La. Mil. Appears on Roll not dated, ordered into the service of the State of Louisiana.
