James W. Gaines, Pvt. Co. D, 13th Battn.,La., (Partisan Rangers) died at the Confederate Hospital at Monroe, LA March 1863 per his military record.
Does anyone on this list know if these hospital death records would be recorded anywhere? Or where these men were buried? Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
