John, I have purchased copies of items from the Museum of the Confederacy on previous occasions, in relation to my studies of the Confederate Navy, and I would like to state that I have always been very satisfied and appreciative of what I have received. I believe the resources at this particular facility are on a par with all the larger facilities, such as the National Archives, and probably hold more on the Confederate services than do other facilities.
I would like to highly recommend that anyone doing research on the Confederate military, and especially the Confederate States Navy, start their research with the Museum of the Confederacy.
