Hi Mike, I believe that they were transfered at the end of the war to the national cemetary at Port Hudson. I've just returned from a metal detecting trip to the Irish Bend battlefield, it was great. My 2cd great grandfather fought, and was hit there with the 25th CVI. Best of luck.
