Thanks for the responce.It had E.E.burritt 21mich.listed(the one in the letter).Four other Burritt's in Confederate Regiments.One from MS.?Another leed.I have found in 1861 men not wanting to wait to muster traveled long distances to join.The proximity of New Orleans and the MS.Gulf Coast might be the answer.After all his brother mustered in Mich.Thanks ever so much.We shall see!
