Thank you for your response. The information related to J.R. Albritton comes from records compiled by SCV Camp 359, Corsicana, TX. I suspected the entries may be in error as they have Albritton's brothers as members of the 49th Ala. Infantry when, in fact, they served the 44th.
Again, thanks. Your informaion will be useful to the SCV Camp 1610 in Monroeville, AL. as we attempt to document the units and burial sites of men from southwest Alabama who served the Confederacy.
