Re: Cameron's (Louisiana) Battery

My great, great Grandfather was Bowmam, F.E. - listed as one of the only three listed in Cameron's unit by the CWSS. Any thoughts why this is so?

He was born at Alphenia Plantation, Tensas Parish, Louisiana in 1854.
,
He enlisted at the age of 16, survived the war, and died a natural death in 1920 at Centerville, La. and is buried in the family plot in Natchez, Ms.

Looking forward to further communications as I have more info to offer.

Sincerely,

Edwin A. Bowmam, III
