It is called "'A Thrilling Narrative: The Memoir of a Southern Unionist" and was written by Captain Dennis E. Haynes of the 1st Louisiana Cavalry Scouts in 1866. I annotated it as thoroughly as I could. University of Arkansas Press issued it in April. There is a link on this board for the book.
