I thought I should bring this correction to your attention, in fairness to T. Michael Parrish. In his book Richard Taylor: Soldier Prince of Dixie, he does list the Taylors as having FIVE children and they are: Richard, Zachary, Louise, Elizbeth and Myrthe. Also, there is another Taylor biography written in "The Dictionary of Louisiana Biography" and Art W. Bergeron was the source listed and he also says Richard Taylor and his wife had five children, three daughters and two sons.
