Confederate Monument 100th Anniversary! Come and Celebrate with Shreveport Chapter #237 UDC as we re-dedicate our beloved Confederate Monument on the Caddo Parish Courthouse Lawn, Texas Street, Downtown, Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10:30 A.M.
All are welcome to attend. We have also gotten permission to fire a volley. So if you can come "dressed out" with musket it will be much appreciated. Any SCV member who comes in uniform and wishes to march into the ceremony should meet at 9:30am across from the YMCA on Marshall St. A map of the area Downtown can be accessed at
