I have a copy of a letter wrote by an ancestor of mine telling of a similar raid, and he was in a company that was part of Col. Frank Powers' Cavalry.
I would be interested in a copy of your information and willing to share what I have. My letter is post war though, as it was written as a reply to his son about his wartime experiences.
I am currently at work, and won't be home until Jun 23, so that would be the earliest I could get it to you.
