I am trying to determine if the George A Gordon 2nd Lt.

who served in Co. C and Co. F 13th Bat. Partisan

Rangers could be my GGrandfather. He actually lived

in East TX but his in-laws lived in LA. I know he was

in the army because of court records said he was. I

have found no record of service in TX and there was no

George Gordon in the LA 1860 Fed. census. Can you

suggest any way to determine it? He died in TX in 1884

to early for a pension.
