I have come to find out that Louisiana has tons of Irish Confederates. I am irish and I have adopted such units as the 6th LA and other units with Irish in them as my own. Are there a lot Irish americans from Louisiana that celebrate their irish COnfederate heritage? On saint Patrick's day do people ware confederate uniforms in parades? Are there reenactors that portray the irish units?
