I have done quite alot of work on thier battles in Kentucky and Tennessee. They fought over 75 major engagements before returning to Louisiana.I just released a book about the Battle of Richmond,Ky where on August 30,1862 they captured more Union prisoners than they could count!A few days earilier they decimated the 7th Kentucky Cavalry(union) and the 3rd Tennessee(Union) at the Battle of Big Hill,Ky.I will be more than glad to give you all the Info that I can. They did thierselves proud as the old saying goes.
