Dear Joel,

I know quite a lot about Calvit Roberts and a bit about the Seven Stars Artillery. I am intently researching the men of the battery and also their military timeline.

Areas of research are: 1850, 60 & 70 MS Census, burial records, Confederate Veteran Magazine, National Archives microfilm for Seven Stars & Moorman's Battalion, the Official Records and internet queries.

This is taking a considerable amount of time as each individual (approx. 240) has to be researched and the information transcribed.

Is there something specific you would like to know?

I have many books on Port Hudson and I am trying to piece together their movements in the Western Theater. I would welcome any information you have regarding Thomas. Feel free to email me.

Warm Regards, Karen
