New Orleans Police Station, circa 1861

I'm curious whether anyone knows the location (cross-streets & description) of the station house where New Orleans Police Chief John McClelland would've been situated, as of November, 1861, prior to his acting as emissary for Monroe in meeting with Admiral Farragut. I know the department was broken up into three municipalities at the time, but I'm curious for the Vieux Carre's police station most of all. Thanks in advance for any help.

Best,
Pete Melman
