BYRD, John H. - John Gill Shorter Artillery, Co. K 1st Alabama Infantry Regt. Died of disease at Silliman Hospital, Clinton, Louisiana on July 25, 1863. Burial at the Clinton Confederate Cemetery on Marston Street, Clinton, Louisiana, East Feliciana Parrish.

OATS, Archibald - Company G, 21st Alabama Infantry Regiment. Captured at Ft. Gaines, AL. Died of Typhoid on October 8, 1864 at St. Louis hospital, New Orleans, LA. Burial at St. Louis Cemetery #1, New Orleans, LA.
