Bayou Teche POWS

Does anyone have access to the rolls of Confederate prisoners captured during the Bayou Teche Campaign of spring 1863? My GGGrandfather Elisha (sometimes Elijah) Jones, Company E, 28th Louisiana, is listed as deserted in the summer of 1863. I remember his son and greatly regret not talking to him more about the family's history. I do recall him saying Elisha did not desert but went home to Winn Parish do some farming. Whatever the truth, he returned to duty and was wounded at Mansfield. But I have another vague recollection of someone saying Elisha was taken prisoner on Bayou Teche and was mistakenly reported as a deserter. Since his brother William T. Jones was captured there, it may be that Elisha was too. I'm trying to find out for sure what happened to him that spring/summer and was wondering if anyone has any information. Thanks.
