Re: Dr. Tichenor 's Frozen Concentrate
In Response To: Dr. Tichenor label ()

Steve, wish I could help you with the desired label, but I can't. However just had to post regarding Dr. Tichenor's, a personal favorite. I was first introduced to this nitro-based elixir when visiting my wife's kin in Midland, TX. The Walgreen's down on Midkiff carried it and and still may, although it's been several years since we were there. Whenever we were, we used to stock up on that stuff and take it back to the left coast.

For whatever reason, I started referring to it as Dr. Tichenor's Frozen Concentrate, possibly because it reminded me of liquid oxygen.

As the grand-daddy of all mouthwashes, it will burn down to your socks if foolishly taken straight. Haven't ever put it on tool steel over night, but surely it would've etched some. Had a heckuva flavor too, somewhere between rubbing alcohol and Maker's Mark. Not sure which end.

But I do like it, and still use it as a topical from time to time when the fleas and skeeters start rearing up. If I ever come across an old bottle labeled as you've described, I will surely secure it for you and notify.
