Re: Martin's Battery
In Response To: Re: Martin's Battery ()

Hello Jamie:
Terry located the book at our historical library here in town today, though we could not borrow it, he loooked through it briefly and said he saw Morton's parole card in the book and it said he was paroled at Gainesville. The battery I am looking for was captured at Ft. Gaines, AL in August of 1864. Any idea which battery this might be? On the microfilm I viewed, it looked like Martin's or Mortin's Battery?
Sincerely,
Theresa
