jeremiah fairburn was my gr. grandfather,he said he was in new orleans when the war ended. he was in the 7th virginia calvery could this be possiable,if so do you have any records.i got his records from virginia and it dont say where he was at the end of the war.its states he was a diserter and he signed a oath of aleageance to virginia,and came to louisiana,can anyone help me find out about this can email me at skc1952@yahoo.com
