A new Civil War Round Table has been established in central Louisiana. The Red River Civil War Round Table had its organizational meeting last night, and will now meet the first Thursday of every month (except June, July and August) at Sammy's Steaks and Ribs on McArthur Drive in Alexandria. The meeting on December 7 will feature a presentation by Dr. Henry Robertson of LSU-A. Everyone is invited to attend. Membership dues will be $40/yr. The meeting hall does not charge us rent, but does expect everyone to order a meal.

Charles Neal of Alexandria was elected president of the organization.
