not sure, but think I may have interacted with Ray before on this. Is it possible that his ancestor in the 11th/17th Ark. Inf. may have been buried somewhere in/near Clinton, LA?

In this regard, Ray -- have you made contact with Michael Howells in Jackson, LA yet? If no, I can give you his email and/or snailmail address. Several years ago, he showed me the 11th/17th Ark. sites in Jackson and Clinton.
