HI! I have been doing genealogical research on both my Great-Great Grandfathers, who were natives of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have recently discovered they both served with the 4th REG LA CO F in the Civil War and were killed in the war battles in Newnan and Ezra Church, Georgia.

Would anyone know where I could find data or some history on this regiment and company?

The library here in Mississippi does not have any Louisiana regiment data. Thank you for your reply!
