Re: Henry Lane Flynt

I am looking for the burial location of my gg grandfather.

2nd LIEUT HENRY L. FLYNT
CO B 3 REGT
TEX CAV
1825
1864
BURIED IN LOUISIANA

3rd Texas Cavalry (Arizona Brigade), Company B. He served in New Mexico in 1861 and in numerous battles in Louisiana in 1863 and 1864, His last two battles of the Red River Campaign would have been at Mansfield and Pheasant Hill, Louisiana.

While serving in the Civil War in Louisana, Henry came down with pheumonia and died. Henry did not died in battle.

So i am wondering if he is buried in a local church cemetery. i can be reached at vjc45@ykc.com

any and all help is GREAT.
