The Mansfield Lovell papers are held at The Huntington Library in California.

Reproductions are only available as microfilm, and are very costly.

I'm hoping that these papers may offer some insight into Van Dorn's army in Mississippi for the fall of 1862.

Anyone have any knowledge of these papers beyond the finding aids description?
