The Union Parish Library will be hosting a Civil War symposium with speaker Dr. Scott Legan entitled Battlefield Louisiana in April 2008. We are looking for traveling museum exhibits, artifacts provided on loan from organizations or individuals that we may include to enhance the symposium and create a month full of information. Does anyone know of exhibits that may be willing "to travel" for us to host? Or do you have any suggestions of how we can make this month an interactive learning experience. We would love to have an exhibit with an associated curriculum for teachers/students. Any ideas are welcome. Thank you.
