I can't find him in the usual sources but if you can provide us more info, date of birth/death and spouse's name etc., perhaps we can learn more. Where did you get the info you already have?

The sad fact is this. Cavalry units were, for obvious reasons, poor record keepers and if he enlisted in 1864 it was possibly during the Red River Campaign when things were hectic to say the least.

I found a record of a Confederate ancestor who has no surviving service record when I found him listed in a Confederate Veteran's Camp roster. Don't ever give up!
