Off of the top of my head, I am aware that at the Howard-Tilton Library at Tulane has a picture of some of the buildings that comprised Camp Nicholls. I am sure that our sister Louisiana National Guard museum at Jackson Barracks has some photographs too, but, as the collection's items are still being repaired, it might be a while before they can be accessed. I will see if any of their photographs had been scanned prior to the hurricane. As you well know, computers were also affected there, but some scans might still be available via the main database. I will check and let you know.
