Melba, I have not found Barneys burial site. I have only searched through the internet. I have not been to the webster court house or webster parish library. I have, however visited several cemeteries and talked to locals. I had a clue that he was buried in Providence cemetery in Ringold. I found an elderly woman that had old record books but he was not listed in known marked grave sites. I have looked for his wife, Angela Ham Maxey with no luck. I do not have her date of death. Sure wish I could find him but I'm afraid he is buried in an unmarked grave.

Your grandmother Arie and My grandfather John were brother and sister.

John lived with his parents until Barney died in 1910 so I know he died in webster prish. John died in 1935 and in 1936 they tore Barneys old log house down and built another house in the same spot. I was born in the new house while it was under construction. Maxey36@earthlink.net Leon Maxey
