Hunter Rifles Co. B uniform

Fellow Centenary College student William Dixon was photographed in March of 1862 wearing a coat with dark, solid colored trim. It would be easy to assume that this trim was black. However, Paul Tibadeaux of the 18th Louisiana was also photographed wearing a grey frock with dark colored trim, but his trim (and that of his company) was red, not black. So, has anyone come across newspaper descriptions of the Hunter Rifles and their uniforms? I know that red was not an uncommon color for Louisiana volunteers to wear; Lafourche Creoles, Orleans Guard Battalion, Iberville Greys, etc. I'm wanting to reproduce Pvt. Dixon's coat to give to Centenary, but I want to make sure that I have it right.

Thanks,

Nic Clark
