To Anyone
After searching for several years we have found Barney Maxeys grave site in Lane Cemetery in Sibley La. He was in Company H Grays 28th Infantry. Enlisted in Monroe in 1862 and was paroled in Shreveport in 1865 and then in Monroe in 1865. Who can I talk to about a civil war head stone for his grave.
Leon Maxey----His brother Nathaniel joined the same day and was paroled the same day. He is also buried there but has the original family head stone
