Boone's Battery was involved in an attempt to "interrupt river traffic" on the Atchafalya River at Simmesport shortly after the Red River Campaign, but that didn't work out too well for them. The Yankee Navy took their cannons. The only other river interrupting they did was at Fort Randolph on the Red River across from Alexandria near the end of the war. That worked out a lot better, as no US boats came up the river until the war was over. Other than that, Boone's people didn't do much else after the RR Campaign.
