Captured at Ft. Gaines, Ala., on Aug. 8, 1864. Admitted to St. Louis Hospital, New Orleans in Spet. 1864 with Gastric Fever. Died from chronic diarrhea at St. Louis Hospital on October 15, 1864. Buried on October 16, 1864, Grave 394 at Monument Cemetery.

Any chance his grave may be marked?
