Quite some time ago, I posted a note about a civil war canteen that is supposed to be to have belonged to my g-g-grandfather - Joab Hawkins Pratt, 19th La. Infantry. My mom has managed to go through the many trucks that it might be hidden in...voile! It has been found. I have taken pictures but I'm not sure how to post the photo. If anyone might have knowledge as to canteens from that period, please e-mail me so I can sent the pics. Thanks
