Kay,
I am the author of a book regarding your ancestor's unit entitled, "Twenty-seventh Louisiana Volunteer Infantry" published by Pelican Publishing Company. In the biographical register section of the book, I show Jackson Finley as having applied for a Confederate Pension in Arkansas in 1902, and listed his residence as Little River County. His widow, Sarah Finley, applied for a Widows Pension in 1907, and listed her residence also as Little River County. Also included in the listing of Jackson Finley in the book is his compiled military service record.

Should you decide to purchase my book, it can be ordered through this message board which helps to support the site, or through any major bookseller or online retailer, as well as Pelican Publishing Company.

Best,
Terry G. Scriber
