It has been a long search for several years. We found my great grandfather Barney Maxey. He was buried in sibley cemetery in an unmarked grave. In years past it was marked with a concrete block. I found it with information I got from a distant cousin and her family whom I did not know. Barney is her great grandfather also, Barney had ten children. I posted an inquiry in this space in march 2007 and got a responce in march 2008 and everything went uphill from there. I want to thank Jim Martin for this website and for directing me to Mark Raines. Mark did all the necessary paper work and arrangements for a grave stone. I would have been lost without him. I received the stone and set it in the cemetery yesterday. I would like to get in touch with gator mcdade to talk about a dedication ceremony. Leon Maxey-maxey36@earthlink.net
