Mr. Foenander,

We have a marker for John Francis and it will be placed in the Mansfield City Cemetery where his remains were buried after the church burned during the battle. I feel that John Francis is ahero for trying to save the wounded Confederate Soldiers from being burned alive, losing his own life while doing so. You are looking for a man by the name of John Fearn, we have John Francis. Two different men.
