Frank Moore had a company of scouts made up of men detached, but not transferred from the different companies of the 15th Confederate Cavalry. He was with P.B. Spence's 16th Confederate / 12th Miss Cav in the fight at Whistler's Bridge / Eight-Mile Creek. That informtion comes from "Publications of the Mississippi Historical Society" vol VIII p. 45-46

He also sent P.B. Spence a map detailing the location of scouts date unknown but probably April 1865. You can find it with a note attached to it in Spence's service record.
