Bryce, I wish I could provide specific details but have lost what few notes I once had. The New Orleans "Daily Picayune" published articles/memoirs by a number of soldiers in the early 1900s, some of which later appeared in "Southern Historical Society Papers." Terry Jones has mentioned Silas T. Grisamore's memoirs from the Thibodaux newspaper. A member of the Tensas Rangers cavalry company provided some memoirs to the "Tensas Gazette" in the early 1900s. I was told that a Minden newspaper carried several memoirs around the same time but was never able to find the exact paper and dates. I suspect that other newspapers carried memoirs or short articles by Louisiana veterans.
