Poche's diary, "A Louisiana Confederate: The Diary of Felix Pierre Poche," edited by Ed Bearss, was published back in the 70s by NSU's Louisiana Studies Institute. Very interesting book. He dedicates two full pages to Yellow Bayou.

If you're writing on Yellow Bayou and mention the "poor soldier" from the Crescent Regiment that Poche mentions who accidentally "blew off half of his head," that fellow's name is available. He's listed in Booth, but I have his name somewhere if you need it.
