As an aside, if anyone is interested, there are two primary cemeteries dedicated to Confederate soldiers killed or died from wounds received at the the battle of 2nd Manassas. Groveton Confederate Cemetery, located on NPS grounds, has only 4 known of an unknown number of burials. Warrenton City Cemetery has a Confederate Memorial in it that is dedicated to Confederate soldiers who were at one time placed in an unmarked, mass grave. The list was found by a gentleman who was researching his Confederate ancestors when he stumbled upon it. The memorial is a result of his research. The base that surrounds the statue has the names inscribed upon it.
