Re: Larkin B. Yarbrough 131st IL Inf

Hello. My cousin's husband is a descendant of the Yarbrough family that came from Illinois.
So I have a young cousin fresh out of college who is also descended from what I believe to
be the same family.
The husband's ancestor was with the group that fought at St. Charles, Arkansas.
If you would be interested in the man's address, feel free to write me at
MissLata@sbcglobal.net
Are you aware that there is a wonderful Illinois site with all kinds of pictures and information?
It is not ran by Jim Martin where the best usually are, but it is still quite good.
What you need to know is that if he was Union, he did get a descent burial even if he was
an unknown.
If he had been Confederate, he would have been thrown in the pit with the rest.
That is where several of mine ended up. Yes, I am rather blunt about that.
Good luck in your search.
Linda
