My great grandfather William aka Daniel Townsend had a reunion with the four other last surviving civil war veterans every so many years before he died. We have a magazine that tells who the other 3 or 4 were but I cannot get to that magazine right now because my cousin Patrick Savage in Texarkana, Tx who owns a deer processing business there is the only one I know who has an actual copy of that article and pictures in the magazine with William Townsend and two others or at least one on the front cover. I found in someones diary or memoir the date of one day a reunion was made but this involved many persons right after the war. Thanks for you imput. Lloyd
