Hello, I am looking for informantion on the 1st Louisiana Cavalry and the 1st Texas Cavalry both of these units was in Gen Davidson,s expedition against the Mobile and Ohio Railroad.These uuits were in Union Army.This was a which large force (4500 men).I need to know if these were the colored regiments in this expedition.I nearly got a day-by-day acount of this expedition and the other union units in this.
