Thank you for the informantion. I hoppe this confirms.I have two sources of inforrmantion about this .1The Marion County, Miss. gennealogy website bout food and livestock taken from them,which was later filed with the Southern Claims Commissission,which claim of several troops of both black and white,thanks from Shannon Gorman of Marion,County Miss Cooridinated of Genealogy.Also Perry County,Miss Cooridinated,who list men of the 1st La Cvarlry as their hometown.This was transcribed by by Teryl Smith from microfilm #1685399 at Mormon Salt Lake City library.
I have been intereter in the Civil War since 1961.I have colected weapons of the war.I also know the great-great grand son of Gen. Richard Taylor,which surrender at Citronelle,Al May4,1865.I live in Mobile,Al and prottay a Civil War Blacksmith in Livining History events.
