Re: Louisiana Tigers raid Pennsylvania mill

Coming from you guys, I am deeply flattered. Of course, you both figure largely in my credits and in the footnotes and bibliography. My ancestors, the Chambers brothers, fought against the Tigers on Cemetery Hill in the 7th West Virginia, my wife's ancestor was in the 25th Ohio, and we both now live in York County, PA, an area replete with documented cases of interactions between the civilians and the Tigers, many of which I used in the new book, including sworn testimony in local court as 868 York Countians filed depositions as to what the Rebels stole (Stuart, Early, Hays, Gordon, Jenkins, etc.). These were a gold mine of new information on the Tigers and their movements here in York.

The blog entry is typical of the kind of information I provide in the book.
