Per Gibson, 80 men were removed from missionary ridge during the battle. My great great grandfather 2 Lt. Barney Sears was one of those we think. He was reported wounded the next day. We think we know where he went to but just trying to find a record of it. Most of the time when an officer was wounded, it was noted in a report. The 19th lost its commander and second in command on the ridge. Reports were from a Captain and not as much was put into that report. Just going to keep digging. thanks for the help.
